The Kingdom of God has come and the Kingdom of God is within us. It is not in a building or synagogue. There is NO distance in the spirit. God is OMNI-Present… everywhere and OMNI-potent… all powerful. What does this mean?
It means that it is time that we begin to show the “church” in ourselves. Show who God is by way of how you react to others and the situation we are facing today. Our job is to provide hope, inspiration and education to the people around us.
As we see the fear and panic that is coming upon our world. As we see the increase in the number of deaths… as we see our futures and how our future APPEAR’s to be dim… God already has a plan and answer to whatever we are facing today.
Psalm 33:18
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. (KJV)
The famine for us is the stock market crashing, stores running out of supplies, job loss and panic. Psalm 33:18 gives us hope… God will keep us alive during the famine.
Put your hope in God. Trust in Him and He is the one who will keep us protected.
Just like the Coronavirus was “invented” or “created” a CURE can be invented or created. The Kingdom of God being here means that since God is omnipotent, He is more powerful than the Coronavirus. The Coronavirus is everywhere. It’s Global… and so is our GOD.
We have come through AIDS, MAD COW DISEASE, 911, SARS, ECOLI, ANTHRAX, H1N1, and a hose of other diseases that doctors said there was no cure from.
Cancer became more and more common and we even learned how to live with it. Coronavirus may be a pandemic right now, but it is only for a season. We will overcome it as well.
So what is God’s Plan for us?
- Pray. It is our job, the Church, to pray. Intercede and be the light, hope and inspiration to those around us. Encourage your fellow believers that everything will again be alright.
- Ask God what your part is during this time. What is it that you are supposed to be doing? Do that.
- Focus on God. Watch the news, be informed and comply, but Keep your mind on the things of God and He will give you perfected peace.
- Pursue His Presence. Sing songs of High Praise. Worship God and invite His presence to surround you. In God’s presence there is healing. Imagine sickness in the presence of God. It doesn’t make sense, does it?
Pray this prayer:
“Heavenly Father, I ask you to give me your strength and power to keep my mind and focus on you. Give me your wisdom and guidance. Open my ears so that I may hear clear instruction from you during these times… Give me wisdom and show me how to navigate each day. I welcome your presence in my life to surround me and cover me, those around me and those I come in contact with.
I pray for decision makers that you grant them the wisdom to know what to do on behalf of the people. I pray for the leaders of God that you provide your strength, your wisdom and power in their lives to carry out your instructions to them. I pray for wisdom and creativity for the doctors who are looking for cures to disease. I pray for the business community to thrive even during today’s economy. Let your peace begin to spread among the people.
Thank you for solutions, answers and your divine protection, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Why We Don’t Get What We Pray For
in Devotion, Patience/by Visual WordHave you been praying for something you want to happen and it has not yet happened? Maybe it is for you to be healed or someone you loved to be healed… Maybe it is for a job because we all need employment or a way to provide for our homes and our families… or Maybe it is for some problem you’ve been dealing with. I’m talking about things and situations we know God doesn’t want us to have to deal with.
God wants us to be happy, or to be healed or to have provisions. Even more than that. We CAN and we deserve to have the desires of our hearts. After all, if we are God’s children, we have God thoughts and desires so what we want will be what God wants.
In many circles I’ve been apart of, it seems the topics have all centered around getting stuff from God or getting God to “do” something for us or on our behalf. This is okay, but it should not be the focus.
Matt. 6:33 says “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all He requires of us and all “these things” will be provided for us. These “things” represent the desires of our hearts or the things we want. I’ve heard people who have made millions by doing a certain thing say that they did not plan to get rich by doing a certain thing and that they were just doing what they believe they were supposed to be doing. They kept doing what they believed they should be doing and they acquired wealth.
This is what I propose to you today. Many of the things we want are easy to acquire from God. Today I want to share 3 steps to finally getting your prayer answered:
You have need of patience… be patient. After you do what God instructs you to do, your prayer will be answered. Don’t think about the problem. Only be concerned with doing what God says and you will be rewarded with what you prayed for.
Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to gain weight? Do you want to be a great dancer? Do you want more money and have peace along with the money? There are answers for all of “these things.” Find out what God wants you to do to receive what you asked for and DO IT!
Pray this prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Forgive me for not spending the proper time with you. Forgive me for not listening to things you have told me to do that I haven’t done. Show me what I need to do, the steps I need to take to get (fill-in-the-blank) my healing, my business off the ground, a better relationship with the people I work with, etc. Let your instructions be clear to me. I am listening and I am open to receive your instructions. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
Bible Myths and Truths
in Faith/by Visual WordThis video was recorded with my dearly departed Tonia. During her last few years on this planet we spent a great deal of time together to no plan of our own. I was blessed to leave my corporate job and pursue my own business ventures which gave me the time to driver her to school daily and we did a lot of hanging out.
We spent a lot of time in the Word of God. Tonia is a true testament to the scripture in Hebrews that tells us how “some even died in faith never having received the promise.” I watched her as she proclaimed her faith to the end. She was adamant that I maintain my faith and never give up.
I believe there is purpose even in death. One minister friend of mine said that he believed her death was a call for all of us to pray and continue praying and to boldly proclaim what we believe.
One of the things Tonia said is that “The people should pray until it happens…” I kept hearing this over and over. One of the things I learned in this is to be alert, pay attention to everything going on around you. Pray and keep praying… fast if you have to to get the end result you want. The other thing I learned is that
Don’t be afraid to do what you believe God instructs you to do. You may have a prompting, you may hear a small voice or you may have intuition about what to do in certain situations. Do it by faith.

In His Strength – Part 2
in Articles & Resources, Holy Spirit/by Visual WordI can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The Joy of the Lord is my strength. It is God who gives me the power to get wealth… All of these scriptures are POWER scriptures. They talk about us having God’s power. Yet many of us do not have God’s power because we do not believe we have or can have His power.
God’s power simply helps us to do the things we cannot do alone. We may try and try to break a habit. We may try and try again to lose weight. We may try everything we know to heal an ailment and in all of our trying, we fall short because we lack the power to do it alone.
In the video below you can discover how to obtain God’s strength to help you perform the tasks, endure the circumstance, gain the victory in whatever we are experiencing.
Pray this prayer: “Father, I thank you for providing me with the grace and strength I need for this day to do whatever I have on my plate to do.”
In His Strength – Part 1
in Holy Spirit/by Visual WordWe have the power to overcome, to endure and to be strong but not in our own strength. We need God’s strength to do those things we cannot do on our own.
God’s Holy Spirit is the thing that allows us to have the power and gives us the ability to do the hard things in life. The Holy Spirit is a helper. It is an influence. It can even give us peace and comfort even when there is no reason to have peace. It can cause us to be happy when we don’t have a reason.
